Kimber 9 MM

OK guys, I have a small dilemma that I am going to ask you folks for you thoughts. After retiring as a LEO I sold off all my 9MM handguns, of course the wife is a tad upset because she was very proficient with the 9. On January 3, 2015 I purchased my very first Kimber, Master Carry Pro, WOW! Hooked!

Being the .45 is quite expensive to continually shoot at the range I have again decided for my sake and the wife's I will purchase a Kimber 9MM. I just don't know which one? I am thinking that I will let you know which ones I don't want for sure and then your advise on the rest.

I definitely don't want the Solo or the Micro. I really like the 4" barrel on the Pro models though open for a 5" also.

I enjoy shooting at the range and take pride in my marksmanship. Now that's another consideration, ACCURACY.

The wife really like the Crimson grips but that can be added later on.

I respect you input and look forward to your humble advise!!

Larry

I had the ultra pro carry in 9mm but did not like the balance. If you look at weight differences the 4" carry is only 3oz heavier but balance and sight length for me make it the better of the two for carry. I'd go with a 4". YMMV

I have an Ultra Aegis II. Sweet shooter and very easy to conceal. Are you confused yet? Good luck and thanks for protecting we mere mortals!

Wink Here Ya Go!!!

Well, since I'm spending your money for this, it's easy!! If you are intent on a 9mm, there are only two choices: #1 of course is the Pro Sapphire II and #2 has to be the Pro Aegis II. However, if you get the Sapphire, you are going to have a tough time getting it away from your wife. You may want to purchase two!!!!

I'm in the PC2 camp since that was my first Kimber and only one of a couple that I won't part with..
I bought it black but have added some new color to it and love it to death..
I have close to 4K rounds through it and it has never had one single hiccup since I have owned it.
