Sexy in the house. - Keepin' it clean for all eyes

Meet the newest member of my family.

Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry II .45 / My first .45.

Now that I finally know what I bought -> Dolt (me)

Not in the best of shape but I have yet to clean and oil it. I have test fired a mag through it without any failures. I know it's reliable.

Thanks for all the information you folks gave forth when I was asking about the trade. They took my SA 1911 ROC .9mm off me.

Besides my Micro 9 my only other 1911 is my STI Elecktra. Thinking I will probably be in the market for an economy 1911.

Don't I know it. I still want a Raptor and perhaps a TLE.

Bish, congrats on your first .45.

When I first started looking at and wanting to buy a Kimber, after practically wearing out a paper catalog the Ultra Crimson Carry is the model I decided I wanted to purchase. But as luck would have it a female motorcycle riding friend of ours offered to sell me a CDP Ultra that I couldn't pass up. She ended up with two, she waited and waited for one she ordered from her LGS then ran across one and bought it at another shop. Yep you guessed it the one she ordered came in about two weeks later.

I'd be willing to bet your going to love the new Ultra Crimson Carry.

Thank you everybody. Your words are making me more excited. lol

I probably won't have a chance until next week so please be patient.

I ordered a big box of ammo and some targets.

Perhaps replacing the CTs so looking for some decent G10 or similar grips and a couple mags.

It never ends does it! No, that's not a question. I already know the answer.
