Comments Wanted: Ultra CDP II 9mm

Considering this pistol to augment my Ultra CDP II in .45, and use the same Milt Sparks VM2 IWB rig.

Anyone use this weapon that can comment on reliability and overall impressions?

I've got other Kimber 1911's, a Micro 9 and a sweet 84M rifle and could probably buy with confidence, but it's always enlightening to hear from other users. TIA

I have an Ultra CDP 9mm, it's easy to shoot, very accurate and as reliable as any other 1911 I own. I found it's a wonderful gun to teach new shooters with.

I have the Ultra CC and would not be afraid to purchase any new Kimber.

Color me infatuated with them.

I'll chime in with, don't have the 9mm, use the CDP Ultra 45 for EDC. When I was looking to buy a "shooter" 9mm I was unable to locate a used CDP Ultra in 9mm, I took that as a sign that the people that owned them was keeping them.
I can't dream of it being anything but an awesome pistol. I will still buy one when I find a nice one.

I have a 9mm Diamond Ultra, its not a CDP but other than having different features it's the same gun. It's been a 100% reliable gun, not one issue. It's fun to shoot and very accurate. There's not much not to like about this gun.

I was thinking about this pistol myself.

I have a UC2 in .45 ACP, but I'd like something with less recoil--jolting is no longer my friend.

It was good to see the reviews..

Thanks!

Thanks to all that responded. That's exactly what I had hoped to hear. No surprise being that we're talking Kimber, right?

Now all I need to do if find one of these elusive critters, hopefully near home.

Thanks again, guys.

Rick, have you seen the one azguy1911 has for sale? If I didn't already have one I'd grab his. He's including a holster all for $900.00.

Thanks there, Chuck. I've contacted AZguy, and we're working on the deal.

Appreciate the heads up!
