Custom TLE II (TFS) in 9mm

From my previous thread about non-Solo 9mm Kimbers, it appears everyone is quite happy with them.

Now, who has experience with a Custom TLE? What do you think?

Anyone have a Custom TLE (TFS)? (threaded for suppressor)

Does the half inch extra barrel length change anything for better/worse?

For a range gun, would you consider a TFS model?

After scouring the Kimber catalog, I quickly discovered there is not a steel or stainless steel framed Pro model 9mm. The only steel/stainless 9mm are all Custom (5"): Stainlless II, Stainless Target II, Custom TLE II, Custom TLE/RL II, Stainless Gold Match II, Team Match II.

Hmm

How hard would it be for them to make a Stainless Pro Raptor in 9mm? I'm thinking, not too hard. That is what I want.

Buy a SS Pro Raptor and have it rechambered to 9mm.

You mean buy ANOTHER SS Pro Raptor? That might be pricey.

Would have to replace the slide due breech face size.

I have the 9mm TLE RL but plan to cut the barrel. Bought for caliber and rail frame not to run a can on it. Won't fit in closed bottom holster with the threaded barrel.

You like the way it shoots?

If the Stainless II had front checkering I'd look harder at that one.

Yes but only put 100 rounds through it so far. I have about 12k through a TM 9mm and it is very smooth and reliable after. Little extractor tuning.

Get the custom and send it out for checkering. Or better yet just do it yourself!
