Firing pin stop

Can I change my firing pin stop to series 70 to fill the hole where the firing pin saftey gets stuck?

The firing pin stop holds the firing pin in the slide I don't understand what you mean by "the firing pin gets stuck?"

The firing pin saftey actuator when u disassemble and accidentally press the grip saftey

The slide gets stuck and you cant get it off

Yes. One of the things I have not understood about Kimber. It should use the other stop. But care should used not to depress the grip safety during disassembly and reassembly. As well as not holding it upside down when doing either as the plunger will drop from gravity. The series 70 stop would help minimize damage during removal but not reassembly if the grips safety is depressed and the slide force on.

I'm filling up an order for a few item from Wilson. I'm going to swap out the firing pin stop to a Series 70. Can be a real pain if the Swartz style safety pin gets into this hole created by the Series 80 Firing Pin Stop.

Here's a good picture of the problem. Series 70 on the left, 80s on the right.
