Just picked up my first Kimber. *pictures*

Just picked up my first Kimber, a Stainless II. I have always wanted a Kimber so I figured now was the time. Got a great deal from a LGS, had to wait a week but it was worth it. Here are some pictures. The first target picture is the first 5 rounds out of the gun at 7 yards. Is this gun accurate? I'd say so. The second target is at 10 yards. Not as tight, but that is mostly due to my eyes. 10 yards is about as far as shoot at the range any more. Overall this gun is a 10 out of 10. Absolutely beautiful, worked flawlessly, surprisingly little kick and just a lot of fun. The Wilson Combat mag I purchased separately worked flawlessly as well. The only complaint I have is that the carry box is cheap. Might need to upgrade that. Enjoy the pics.

Thanks. I really can't say enough about this gun. What really surprised me is how smooth it is. I've fired other .45's that felt like hand canons (including my other 1911). This is buttery smooth. I only got to put 50 rounds through it today on lunch, but tomorrow I'm going to try to get back to the range for some more breaking in.

It is amazing how quickly Kimber can build a Stainless when they are "all out of stock!"

That is one fine looking shooter you have there. Congrats and some mighty fine shooting also.

Did you practice any "cocked n locked" safety on/off today ?
