Pro

I have been to the Micro site and asked, now I want opinions here as I am looking for a nice 9mm range weapon that I might also at some point want to carry.
Pro CDP or Stainless Pro Carry??? GO......

It's mostly about cosmetics, internally the guns are the same. If it's going to be a range gun then I'd suggest you go with the Raptor, it will shoot great and look nice. If you want to carry it I'd go with the CDP, it will be as accurate as the Raptor but IMHO give you a better grip in a stressful situation with the high cut trigger guard and checkering. One of my carry guns is an Ultra CDP.

Thanks Chuck, I am looking at the Pro because now I think I want a little heavier, longer barrel range shooter and something that would also be nice to carry if I want to. I have the Micro Raptor, love it and I agree the Ultra Raptor does look really good. Bigger is better or so I have been told.

Well I don't think you will go wrong with either model, they're both great guns.

Is bigger really better? A 9mm in a 1911 package should be pretty managable regardless. The sight radius on the Pro will give a skosh more accuracy, but the added weight might be more fatiguing after a long day. And the concealability of the Ultra will be better than the Pro. Decisions like this are always difficult.

The choice between Pro CDP or Stainless Pro Carry is a coin flip toss up. They will all be accurate. I sold a very, very accurate Sapphire Pro to Snowtao, if you want to invest a little more money into it.
I tend to be attracted to stainless pistols so I would probably go Stainless Raptor Pro but the Pro CDP would work fine also.
Going to be a personal taste kind of thing only you can answer.

Raptor Pro is my vote.
You already have a Raptor Micro so get that next piece to complete the set

We are going to a range today and I am going to shoot the Pro Stainless and see. Then get my Micro back on the range after its re-coating. If there were not so many wonderful choices this would a lot easier! The Raptor pro is a little too heavy for me I want to stay around the 28oz mark with a 4" if I can.
