Not sure what you're looking for, internally it's a Kimber 1911 with the same parts that come in all Kimber 1911's. Externally like all the different models Kimber produces it's the add-on's and cosmetics that make it unique.

It appears to have a steel frame that makes it a little unigue

Some Kimber models have steel frames and others aluminum frames, they've been making both styles for years. In cases where they make the same gun with both frames they label the steel frame the HD model.

I am aware that Kimber makes Steel and Aluminum. I just thought a steel frame in 9mm was a little different.

I like that some of the KHX models have a milled slide so you could add a dot sight if your eyes are as bad as mine. Donít care for the grip colors though.

Grips are easily changed, if I had a gun for every set of grips I own I'd have to buy a 3rd safe.

I know I'm trying to talk myself out of out of buying one in 9mm!!!

Love the round heel frame on the Pro, serrations, color, and laser grips. A little heavier than i was looking for though (35 oz).
