Ultra Crimson Carry II Range Report follow up

Well, finally got back out to the range again. First time with the pistol ran 160 rounds through it with 1 FTF. Thought it might be the mag that came with the pistol.

Today, is the second visit. Ran 200 rounds of Remington UMC (dirty round)...I really think the bullets are lead. No problems or worries with slow or rapid fire on either mag. No problems period except when I went to put the pistol back together after a complete teardown (this being my first time).

Needed three hands to get the mainspring housing back in until I figured a way to get the holes lined up agains the plunger pressure and getting the pin started. The rest of it was a piece of cake.

No black area remained on the pistol target. Had the sight changed to night sights and they are right on for me. Also, practiced using weak side hand for shooting.

I have the NDZ tool. That makes it easy to field strip. The problem was with the mainspring housing - having to overcome the spring pressure, fit the pin and drive it in. The pin is a tight fit in the housing itself. Easy way to do it is to use a punch a little smaller than the hole, push the mainspring housing in aligning the holes and slip the punch in to hold in place (from the right side). Then drive the pin in from the left.
