Pro Carry ll

I have a friend who wants to sale his Pro Carry ll. The gun has been fired very little. I don't have a good feel for what is a fair price for this gun. Can anyone help me?

First, welcome to KT.

Is this the one you are talking about? Kimber America | Pro Carry II | Compact II & Pro Carry II | 1911

Most new guns can be found for 20% off MSRP. If the gun is in good shape, with a MSRP of $919 you might offer between $650 and $700 and see what he says.

Keep in mind that this is an aluminum frame and has plain sights. I'm not sure what you plan to do with it but worth considering all the options you want in a 1911 unless your getting a fantastic deal.

I love -LOVE- the Pro Carry. It's a fantastic pistol. Offer him $500. If he takes anywhere beetween $500 and $600, get it and consider it a fantastic deal!

Seen a few Pro Carry's at local shops New from $750 to $800. Used at 70 percent puts it around $542 value at 90 to 100 percent original.

Welcome to the site from Tennessee! I agree with Gator's post he is right on target and would only add night sights would help value.

Wink My 2 Cents Worth!!

I'd offer $550-$600 IF it is in excellent shape. If not so excellent, I'd adjust downward from there in accordance with condition.

BTW, the Pro Carry II is a hell of a pistol. I should know I have one. Of course, mine has been fancified and modified to suite my tastes. It is a shooter, thought!!
