The Streak Has Ended-A NU-2-Me-Stainless II 45

Back in November when I found out that my j.o.b would be ceasing to exist here at the STL location I made a promise to myself not to buy any new shooters until I went back to work. Yes I did some trading to satisfy the itch that all of us get from time to time, but I held to my guns {pun intended} and didn't buy one until this afternoon.

This is the 2016 Stainless II 45acp 5 inch model and as you can see it has the rosewood grips, but no night sights. According to the nice older fella that I bought it from he bought it new at Gander Mountain a couple of years ago and shot a box of ammo through it and put it away because the recoil was a tad too much for him. After our deal was made yesterday via email he went out and bought himself a Kimber Raptor Micro 9 to replace this one.

Any-Hoo, I'm looking forward to our next range visit to start the "real" break-in procedure.

YES it will work.

With the kit installed you have to option of shooting .460's or standard .45's. I understand they have improved the conversion kit since I got mine. I'm not sure but the kit for the all SS gun may come with a different recoil spring then the one used in my Two Tone. If anyone is thinking about getting one but have questions give them a call (918) 928-7460 tell them the gun you have and they will tell you what you need.

The .460 uses standard .45 1911 magazines and standard .45 dies to reload the rounds.

You always find the sweet deals. You don't need no stinking night sights!

This is true since this will be a range gun and our range is well lit.
