new guy needs mag recomendations

Hello, new guy here. I just ordered a Pro CDP II 9mm for the wife, and was wondering what mags you guys recommend. I have seen lots of info for the .45 but not much on the 9mm. I run wilsons in my Colt Combat Commander and my Sig Nightmare Carry, and they run great. Any recommendations for the Pro CDP 9mm ?? Thanks in advance.

I use Metalform Elites. If you do not want the wide base plate the standard will run fine. I have used the Elites for years and many rounds. Some swear by the newer version of the Wilson’s though haven’t tried them. Their first attempt at a 9mm mag was not very good.

Kimber SS mags in 9mm. Work fine in the Sapphire Pro II, 350 rds. total.

YMMV.

Cool, thank you for the replies. I don't think the base plates will be an issue, as this will pretty much be a range/fun/safe princess toy, as I just picked her up the new 19 for carry. Did I see correctly that there are also 10 round mags for the CDP also??

Welcome to the forum from Northeast.
I’ve been using Joe’s 1911 Mag Mania for several years now and never had a problem

Welcome to the forum from northern Illinois Steve, I'm also a fan of Joe's and have many of his magazines.

How about stopping by our "New Member Introduction" sub forum and introducing yourself to the membership?

Hey, speaking of stuff called "magazines," I use Wilson-Rogers with the mid-size bumper, in seven-shot only.

The best "range" magazines are from Joes1911magmania. I have full and compact in 9mm and .45acp. I was using KimPro-Tac mags as EDC spares however a few months ago Chuck and I changed our EDC spares to Chip McCormick 10rd stainless mags (or I did and I think he did also).
These are "Joes" 9mm magazines, I added Blue bumpers to all my 9mm magazines so I know at a glance that they are 9mm.

I ended up buying 3 more of the factory Kimber mags, and it ran great. Thank you for the replies.
