5/24/18 PRO CDPII 9mm :-)

...brought out my PRO CDP II today. The lunch fare was 50 Aguila 124gr FMJ and 50 American Eagle 147gr FP FMJ. The ammo was served via 2 Kimber 9 round and 3 Wilson Combat 10 round magazines. The pistol ran flawlessly as usual but I did have 2 instances where the flat point ammo hung up in a Wilson Combat magazine. In both cases it was the first round of a Wilson Combat magazine and the tip caught the edge of the magazine? I actually ordered the ammo by accident thinking it was the normal RN FMJ. I'm thinking those rounds weren't loaded far enough back into the mag? Those 10 rounders are tight so #10 doesn't just slide in.
...paper was at 7 yards.

I’m getting out to the range Saturday morning and I can’t wait, it’s long overdue. Nice shooting cousinmark.

I love my Pro had kind of those same issues in the beginning, now its smooth as cream. You know those Kimbers need time and patience to get it right! Enjoy your PRO.

Yup, the PRO size is great. Not too big, not too small.
The few hang ups I mentioned are mag/ammo issues. If the top (1st) round isn't tipped up a hair it hangs on the mag edge when I try to chamber it. I'm confident it's because of the flat bullet profile, it's never happened with round nose ammo.

Have you slapped the back of the loaded mag on the shooting bench to verifying seating?

Yes, I usually rap them on the bench at the range. Now that I know what to watch for with this ammo I should be able to avoid the problem. I normally buy the RN stuff anyways, I clicked the wrong option and didn't review the order closely. I do like the way shoots, seems to be better accuracy wise?
