Picking up a Tactical Pro II

I am trading my Springfield Range Officer Compact 9mm for a Kimber Tactical Pro II in 45 acp.
The grip is a half inch longer which will have a little affect on concealment.
The only things I will probably do to it is put on thin grips maybe grip tape on the backstrap. I will eventually put XS Big Dot Night sights on it.
I will also get rid of the ambidextrous thumb safety.

My EDC is an Ultra Tactical II, I believe the Tactical series was the best carry gun Kimber offered. Night sights, magwell, ambidextrous safety, checkered front strap, checkered bottom of the trigger guard, checkered mainspring housing, the only thing missing is a rear sight with a cocking shoulder. Unless someone changed out the mainspring housing you're not going to need any grip tape.

big step away from the Solo, you'll be happy with the Tactical Pro.

Excellent choice, like Chuck said, it has everything you need for a carry gun.
