Rimfire Super Repair work

Sent my Rimfire Super to Yonkers 7/20; they received it 7/23. It arrived today, and here is what they said they performed:

Firing pin stop;
Trigger group adjusted (I have no idea what that is);
Refinished barrel;
Chamber reamed and polished;
Recoil spring replaced.
Test fired with 4 mags of CCI mini-mag 22LR RN.

The issue for repair was this: after 610 rds. total, the weapon would not feed/extract reliably CCI Stinger (~$6.50/box of 50). Does not like Fed. Champion, Automatch. Would like to use the weapon for Bullseye (Precision) pistol, but not at that velocity. Noticed they did NOT replace the mainspring.

As soon as I can, I will try the weapon on different loadings and report back.

Gotta say, I am thrilled with the turnaround time on the repair. Maybe it's because it's a .22.

Sweet! I've always wanted a .22 LR 1911. I've said before, the next Colt Ace I run across is coming home with me … I'll have to keep an eye open for a Kimber too.

I've never considered Stingers a pistol round. More of a long barrel loading. May I suggest you try some CCI Pistol Match or Lapua Pistol King. I've used both in Bullseye and Silhouette matches and found them extremely accurate and reliable. Not the cheapest but far from the most expensive Eley Pistol Match stuff. I found the CCI PM on sale at $5.21 a box … I bought 3000 rds.

I shoot a Ruger Government Model (tuned) and a full house Clark Custom Mk II Bullseye gun. Love me some rimfire!!!

I just re-read what I wrote above: the weapon would not feed/extract reliably /EXCEPT/ CCI Stinger; big difference in meaning.
It just wouldn't handle anything but that super hi-vel stuff.

Apologize for the confusion.
