Hoping someone can help with a holster find. I am looking for a low ride, owb, suede lined holster for a tle/rl ii.

I am looking for the low ride because I want to use it for ppc competitions and am most comfortable with a low ride position. Suede lining is to reduce wear of course.

Iíve fried safariland but they donít seem to carry many options for the tle.

Anyone know of any holsters they can recommend?

I can't recall but is/was the TLE RL offered in various sizes, Ultra, PRO and 5"?
If so I'm thinking any holster offered for a Kimber pistol of the same size will work? I'm sure some of the high $$$.$$ custom leather shops will set you up regardless, just give them a call. Milt Sparks products seem to be WELL reviewed.

Welcome to the forum crwbr, how about stopping by our "New Member Introduction" sub forum and introducing yourself to the membership?

While I'm no leatherologist, I think "smooth side in" will give you less wear, and maybe the holster will last a little longer. But is the difference even measurable?

I've had a couple lined holsters, which were not cheap. But honestly, I never derived that much gratification from knowing if I draw my gun and shine a light down the holster, it looks just a little bit nicer than an unlined holster.

What are the other PPC shooters using? Bet you see a lot of kydex out there.

If you are looking for something more akin to a duty holster. It can be difficult to find. Most 1911 duty holsters don't fit a rail, unless you are also using a light. I run a Gcode XST holster for my full size TLE RL. It's not lined, but I haven't noticed any issues with the finish wearing. https://www.tacticalholsters.com/pro...kydex-holster/
