Scored a Ultra CDPII in 9mm........

I snagged a 9mm Ultra CDPII today.....I had been looking for one to cut the cost of practice, as shooting a lot with my .45 Ultra CDPII was getting a bit pricey.......Purchased it from the original buyer and he reports around 500 rounds downrange (which the wear on the rails, or actually lack of wear, confirms is pretty accurate), the finish is flawless except for one small chip on the left side of the trigger guard. It came with 5 magazines, box, and paperwork for $850. Considering a new one is just shy of $1200, how could I say no?

Took it to the range this afternoon.....100 rds of Armscor 124 ball...flawless, 50 rds of HST 124 standard pressure had two failures to fully go into battery. I've not figure this out yet, will have to find out what the issue may be.

WHAT A SOFT SHOOTER.......Trigger pull on par with my .45 (I haven't measured it yet). I wasn't quite as accurate with this as I usually am with the 45, but I did feel a bit off, so I think it was me, not the gun.

YMMV

I think you got a good deal! When I was looking for a CDP 9mm about two years ago all the used ones I found was anywhere from $975 to over 1K.
Well done, I would have bought it also.

Congratulations on your new Ultra CDP II Lon. The CDP has some great features for a carry gun.

I don’t have anything in 9mm and would have jumped on that deal. WTG.

Nice score, I have the same gun, it's the only 9mm 1911 I own. I found it's a great gun for introducing new shooters to the 1911.

Chuck, you remember me finding that used 9mm CDP at LGS and they wouldn't come down on the price cause they had to much $ in it. They was the original seller, old guy bought it then traded it back in for a .45.
With Tennessee sales tax it would probably been over 1k and it was Rough, Rough, Rough, like rattled around in the bed of a truck rough.

Ended up getting the Stainless Ultra 9 for a mere 6 bills. I did good and didn't know it at the time.

We have a used Ultra CDP II in our case and the fella wants $750.00 for it-it also is not selling due to the pick up truck effect-kinda looks like someone threw a load of firewood on top of it.Nice find for a good price.
I have a Springfield EMP that will not feed HST ammo-same deal as yours-sticks in the chamber-but the pistol has zero problems with other ammo.
