Hello and Older Kimbers

Greetings to all. I was turned on to this forum by 2Sharp2 who spoke very highly of the group. Iíve been around 1911ís for a long time and have owned Kimbers since the 90ís. In fact I have a couple late 90 models. 1 is a Classic Royal and the other is a Custom Compact. I think it may be a less produced gun, as it is an all steel frame. Anyway thanks again to 2Sharp2 and would love to hear from others that may have either of these two guns.

CaptCG, Hey glad you made it! Welcome to the site from Chattanooga. I have some all steel older Kimber's (not as old as yours) they are nice and to me have a different feel than newer models.
Maybe some owners will chime in.

Welcome Capt. Ö careful of that 2sharp2 guy, we all know how he is.

I too have a 90s era Kimber Classic Custom, all steel, and well broken in. She's a real shooter. Mine's been used in IPSC, USPSA and a few plate and bowling pin matches.

Again welcome to the forum, we love pics and to exchange information and opinions.

Welcome from the northern Outer Banks-- Nags Head!

I have a 1999 Stainless Classic, which was my first Kimber. All steel and series 70! Trigger and point of aim/point of impact are amazingly good. Hasn't been shot much and is now a safe queen.
Just call me Harold, or whatever you want.
