Aegis or Rapide?

New here. I own a couple of custom 2's and a raptor. Love them all. I'm currently drooling over the Aegis and Rapide full size 45 cal. Anyone have range time with both? I'm assuming the triggers and basic function are all the same. The Aegis has really caught my attention. Any negatives or known problems with either I should know about before I pull the trigger so to speak.

I think they're both good looking guns, but personally I like round butts.

Welcome to the forum BossChaos, how about stopping by our "New Member Introduction" sub forum and introducing yourself to the membership.

I'm with Chuck on this one. I am liking the idea of an Aegis Ultra, or Pro.

Also another welcome from Northern Illinois.

BossChaos, No question 1000% "Aegis!" There is a recall for Aegis that has a optic milled into the slide, incorrect grade fasteners or something.

I'm with Chuck, round butts rule.

Welcome to the site from Tennessee.

Put me in the round butt camp. I’m going to continue advocating for a round butt Ultra.

I've wanted some company to make a round butt Ultra for years!

Best alternative was Super Carry Ultra Plus.

I have an Aegis Custom in .45. It has been a great gun since day one. 100% right from the start. No problems at all. Very pleased.
Welcome from Georgia.
