Kimber Rapide - Custom size

This looks interesting. Of course, the last thing I need is another full-size pistol.

I like the shooter, but not a fan of the gold barrel.

Yeah, it has a bit of the gangsta-glock thing going on. For some reason, when I saw the picture my first thought was that scene at the end of Cars when the blinged-out SUV with it's giant spinners cries "but I've never BEEN off road!!"

It looks a lot like some of those high dollar Nighthawk Customs.

A black or stainless barrel would have been just fine.

Yup. Glock aftermarket have been doing custom slide milling and fancy barrels for many years. As gun sales have suffered across the industry, more manufactures are making custom work a factory option.

This is the new S&W Shield .380 offerings.

Ugh.
I will never understand why S&W put the new .380 in their Shield line, It's bigger than the Shield .45, which completely defeats the purpose. Should have just been a M&P .380, then the ugliness would be somewhat forgivable. I like the sites though, wonder if they'd fit on my gen 1 Shield 9...
