Most of my magazines are 8 round KimPro Tac-mags that I've picked up on sale at various web sites (about 25 of them). I have about another 25 range use mags that I've bought from Joe's 1911 Mag Mania that have been flawless from day one. A lot of our members use them and I've never seen one complaint about their quality or functioning.

I like the KimPro Tac Mags so much I've seen no need to try anything else. Well I did try one Mec-Gar and had minor issues with it. No knock on MecGar I have used their mags with great success in other guns, including 1911s.

I have had no issues with any off the magazines supplied with my Kimbers! I use Tripp Cobra magazines in all my 1911!

I’m not sure it makes much difference as to brand. I prmarily have McCormick Shooting Star mags in both 8 and 10 round but have a mix of mecgar, metalform, no name, surplus and manufacturer supplied mags. I’ve never had a problem with any except the Kimber 38 super mag that came with my Eclipse Target. Kimber replaced it and I had no further problems.

I don’t think it matters what you buy.

All my Kimbers came with Chip McCormick mags, they are all I use.

One of my Ultra Carry II's say Kimber on the side of the magazine, the other is plain, but the all have the star with the tail on the follower designating Chip McCormick "Shooting Star". Excellent magazines!

Interesting, not heard of Gunmag Warehouse. TacMag for 20 bucks is pretty good.
