To many 9mm so was thinking about changing to a 45, but this is my favorite 9mm and most accurate..
So let me know what you think....
Sell one of the "to many 9mm's" that you like the least/don't shoot much and buy a .45 of your choice or keep them all and just buy a nice 45acp 1911.?
Just because you "can" swap a few parts and change a 9mm to a 45acp don't mean that you should! If you have any type of malfunctions or Heaven forbid a major issue (cracked frame or something) Kimber will void warranty and you will foot the bill.
I advise against going BubbaSmith'n and creating a Frankenstein 9mm/45 pistol.
From the photos the Cerakote refinish looks like factory color to me.
