Finally found grips for my two-tone!

You'll remember I just got this pistol...still haven't even fired it yet.

So, I've been fretting over what color/style grips would look just right (to me, of course) on my Pro Carry II. I even tried a couple of pairs of cheap G10 grips...meh.

Anyway, my LONG time favorite, almost 35 year old grips that were on my competition 1911 Colt 70 Series back in the 80's came to I googled them...

Very functional, popular back in the day. I'm sure I have some sets in the parts bin.

Looks good!! Loved the wrap round on my S$W 1911 - finger groove / rose wood. I went with two sets for my P/C II - both the same but different. Went with VZ Grips Operator II - I like the aggressive grips. Have them on my Springfield and love them. Went with the slimmer grips on the second buy for my P/C II and they now fit real good for me. Still need to get the 20 lines per inch for the front strap done.
