What Mags for my Stainless II

Got my first Kimber, and my first 1911, and I see a lot of talk about mags and FTE or FTF. So my question is this: Anyone out there with a Stainless II have any recommendations on what Mags to use? OEM? Wilson Combat? Typically I go OEM, but not sure here. Thanks.

Joe

I have a stainless II, and have no issues with any of my OEM Kimber mags.

No issues either with any of my factory mags, but many of us have bought mags from this site and you can't tell a difference between his mags and the factory except for the money that you will save...

^^^ what Jeff said, I use Joes 1911 mags in both 9mm and .45 and have never had a problem with them.

I'll throw in Kimber Pro Tac mags as well. I've got about 20 of them and never a problem.

Factory mags always worked fine for me. I also have Wilsom Combat mags and they also work fine. I am going to buy those Joes mags Marshall and Chuck are talking about. The prices are excellent and if they say they're good I believe them.

Me too. Good mags. I think they are made by Checkmate Industries, so you can look on the Checkmate site as well.
