...new PRO CDP2 9m :-)

I guess maybe I've been hanging around Chuck and the boys too much???
...over the past few months as some of you know I've been getting my first Kimber, a Micro Carry, dialed in. Thanks for the help KT. She's now running nice, really nice :-) I let a guy at range run a mag to see how he did a few weeks ago. In fact his comment was "those Kimbers are NICE". For what I got the Micro for it's ideal, travels well and I think it weighs less than a pound with a full mag. Can't beat that.
...I started thinking about something a little bigger in 9mm for the range, ammo is less and a more full size pistol will go longer before needing a cleaning right :-)
...looked at Kimbers site some and saw a few I kinda liked, thought to myself, "too bad the PRO CDP2 isn't available in 9", they only show it in Ultra chambered in 9? Dropped by the gun shop, no 9s? 6-8 weeks or so on orders. Held a PRO CDP2 in .45 and almost went for it :-)
...so when I looked at the GunBroker site, typed Kimber Pro 9mm into the search and at the top of the list was a PRO CDP2 9mm, I thought to myself "NICE". Factory "new in the box" what else could I do :-)
...hopefully I'll have a "NICE" range report for you guys next week:-)

Kimber just started offering the 9mm in the CDP Pro II this year along with in the Raptor Pro and few other models. I guess they're bringing out new calibers and models faster then their web guy can update the site.

...I glanced at the manuals in the support section and only saw field strip instructions for the barrel with a bushing? I may have missed it but didn't see anything on the design with the hole in the guide rod and L tool? Could be I was not looking in the correct area? I'm sure the manual she comes will have procedures for disassembly.
...on the CDP PRO II, I thought it was a model that had been discontinued as the site only showed the .45, glad to find it's new. Thanks Chuck.

Edit: the disassembly procedures are there, just a little further down.
