My new Ultra Carry II 9mm

I went for a visit to my favorite gun store with the purpose of buying some 22. mini-mags for my new .22 conversion. I told myself don't look in the display cases...don't look! pssst, I looked. Well I asked myself what I didn't have and just how I could justify it if asked by the boss...I mean wife. Well, I for sure don't have a Kimber 9mm. So I bought one. Now I just hope my wife buys my reasoning.

Very nice 5thgear! You will enjoy that one. I got a great deal on a used SUC awhile back.
I am glad Kimber stopped putting the plain ugly black grips on them. I really like the new grips on yours.

My wife needs one of those. If your wife threatens to throw you out, send me the UC and we'll hold it for you until things settle down.

Thanks for all the congrats guys. For you 9mm guys do you have a favorite hollow point that works good in your Kimber. In my 45s Remington golden sabers seem to work good. My wife has some Speer gold dot 115 grain and Federal premium 147 grain hydro shok for her Beretta. I hate to shoot all of her's up trying them unless someone has had good luck in the Kimber with them.

I have only used Federal HST and they run flawlessly.

I've used Speer Gold Dot 124 +P the most and never had any issues. I like Remington Golden Saber and you may want to try FM Hornady XTP, they shoot great and are very reasonably priced.
