Smooth As Butter!

I had the range all to myself this morning. I put some BreakFree CLP on the SIS Custom loaded the factory magazine, SIS will load by pressing the slide stop lever. It ran 100 rounds of FM 230gr FMJ Reman, smooth as butter flawlessly. SIS has checkered front strap and is all steel so recoil is easy. It is very accurate when I do my part.

That really worked out well for you Sharp, nothing better then a first range session with a new, or new to you gun working perfectly. That's one sharp 1911 for sure.

Nice shooting Arland, I'm glad to hear that the Custom SIS is running great.

Good for you Arland...Love that SIS...

BTW...All my autos will load by releasing the slidestop, but I use the slingshot method to keep from slamming my slide all of the time...

Thanks guys, not a bad pistol for eight years old.
I almost always slingshot the slide also seemed to be smoother from the release.

It's not flashy but it does get the job done.
