CDP vs Two-tone

Am I the only one surprised there's like a $400+ difference between the two (9mm) seems like a big gap, I know you get ambi-safety, night sights and checkered front strap but....

For an example. Go to Springfield Armorys site and look at the price list for custom work. Feature wise it is less.

That is why the TacticL line is the best bang for the buck if you want all that stuff.

A Tactical Custom HD can be had for 1150.

Also an alloy frame and carry melt on the CDP. It's designed as a carry gun, if it's just for range use. Buy the two tone, but if a somewhat lighter gun with more options is what you want for concealed carry get the CDP.

True and if you go without the HD, you can have an alloy frame for a lighter gun.

How much are the CDP's running nowadays, mine were in the $1100-1200 range when I bought them.

...my PRO CDP II 9mm was $1179.00, with shipping and transfer we're at about 1235.00. Other than a few FTEs when trying out a Wilson Combat .38 super flat wire spring not one problem function wise (500 or so rounds) with her :-)
I had thought about the Two Tone but got to thinking ultimately the ammo is going to wind up being the big expense so why not go with the pistol I preferred.
