Ultra CDP II

Been thinking about adding one to the collection, 9mm of course , but I'm cheap, I mean thrifty and I just don't see any around pre-loved, even the rare one that appears on GB are like $100 less than new, WTF

When you consider what you'll wind spending on ammo for that hot little ultra? Drop a few bills extra for the one you want, you deserve it :-)
...plus I don't think they've been around in 9mm for too long so finding anything used is iffy?

The 9mm Ultra CDP II is a nice shooting gun, I found mine about 2 years ago on gunbroker and paid around $1,000.00 for it.

I'm thrifty also. That's exactly what steered me to 9mm an 22's.
Range was getting costly even with 38's,357. I still take 'em but feel
looser firing 9's and of course 22's.

Agree, got tired of looking for a used 9mm CDP Ultra. I bought this one, looks a little different but is accurate and has not had any problems. I was a little "worried" due to the description saying it had an accuracy job and a different front sight installed. However it has worked out perfectly. My winning GunBroker bid was $620.00.
I found a couple CDP's but no movement on the price.
Happy with this purchase. It came with ugly but very functional rubber grips.

I believe you get what you pay for. I know all of my more expensive guns are more fun to shoot then my cheaper guns. I know they also all go bang. We all also have our comfort range and what one can afford maybe too much for others. If you can afford the gun you want, your not going to regret buying it but, if you go cheaper, you may regret your purchase. If your not happy with the cheaper gun after you buy it, your going to eventually buy the one you really want and then what did you save.

Started shopping for one, will probably go LGS route and trade in my Sig Ultra two-tone and RIA Ultra to diminish the wack.

Keep trying Bud....I spent a fair amount of time shopping for an Ultra CDPII - 45ACP. Found one on GB just last week that had only been test fired (hope so...pics were super clean). Out the door, shipping included for $975. And, it came with a matched Galco King Tuck ($75) to boot! They're on there...check early, check often and when one pops up, don't hesitate! Good Luck!

I was trying to sell a LNIB Ultra+ CDP II in .45 ACP, and was getting no bids at $895. So, I decided to start shooting the gun. I pulled my ad when I realized how much fun the gun is to shoot. 100 flawless rounds so far, half factory jacketed, half LSWC reloads. Much easier for me to hit what I'm aiming at than my SA & DA revolvers. Took it apart for cleaning & put it back together with out any problems. I think I'm going to keep it.
