Anyone else NOT carry your 1911?
I rarely do. A bit too finicky for me, at least for now. My 3 carry guns are 1) XD40 at work, 2) HK USP Compact .45, 3) Sig Sauer P220. Thousands and thousands of rounds through them all without a single malfunction with the exception of the XD using steel one time only. There is no doubt in my mind these fine weapons will fire when needed. That's why.
The TLE is on it's way; 100 percent @700 rounds with all brass rounds so I may be adding this to the list down the road. Even with 300 rounds at the range and dirty it just kept going without any additional lube.

My Glock 19 has been my EDC for a long time. It always goes bang no matter what. My PCII has been seeing quite a bit of carry time lately though. It has proven itself to me.

Excellent choice with the Glock IMO. Very popular with law enforcement agencies. Another is the Sig .357, and yet another is the Smith M&P. The M&P feels the best in my hand of the three.

Summers in Saint George Utah get very warm, In the summer months I carry my Sig P239 or my S&W Bodyguard. But when it cools down a little I carry my baby, a Kimber [email protected] +. I love that gun.

I have two. At work, I have a Smith 638. When I'm not at work, it's a Walther P99. I love that gun.

Waiting...

I don't have my CCW yet, it's on the way... 90 day eta about 45 days ago.

I don't have a gun I would use really as an EDC yet. I toyed with the idea of carrying my Kimber Eclipse Pro II, but it's big. I am a big guy but it's still big.

Not sure what I will carry yet, I do like the Shield, but was waiting to see what the new Walther CCP was like.

I've considered the Ruger LC9 with the front pocket wallet holster (it looks like a wallet...)

So, thanks for this thread I am hearing good ideas
