pants on the ground

for us guys that lack enough butt to hang your pants on.
you have to tighten your belt so much that your blood is cut off just to hold your pants up, now you want to add a gun.

any of you were a dedicated gun belt on top?
iwb?
owb?

Yeah, I have one of those new heavy gun belts but it's only comfortable with heavy jeans. I've mainly used it with an OWB holster on the range. The belt seems to weigh more than my gun.
I have a light belt made of woven elastic cords. It looks good with khaki's or my tropic weight pants. And being "stretchy" it holds my "sticky" holster and Airweight revolver really well. It makes for great Summer carry.

How about suspenders for your pants and a belt for the gun.

Perry's

Yes...they work well. I have some Perry's "Y" Back suspenders, I got from Duluth Trading Co. They have wide straps, with a 3-point design that attaches to your belt, not your pants. If you're going to be walking around with a heavy belt/holster/gun combo they work great. Super for all day competitions and EDC under a light jacket.

Took my 686 to the range yesterday. Browsed the shop and found a good deal on a bull belt, 1/4" thick. Haven't tried it yet.

I bought belts from Hanks. I got the wrong size and within a week they made the swap. Great customer service.

I've had these since before the holidays and they are holding up well with no wear or tear showing. I only have OWB holsters. (Not lucky enough to be thin and utilize a IWB.)
