What is the Vedder "claw?"

I've been looking at a Vedder IWB holster. An option is the "claw." One of the pics shows what must be the claw, but I don't understand what it does. Could anyone enlighten me? Thanks

OldDad

I called the claw a hook in the thread title and can't seem to change it. Oops.

From their website:
Description
Vedder's custom engineered claw attachment is a great addition to your standard LightTuck holster! Features include:

Precision claw design for the perfect alignment with your belt, drawing the grip of your gun closer to your body, making it even more concealed!
Easily attaches to previous LightTuck models (excluding some laser and light attachment models) using a simple drill, included template and included screw with your original post and retention spacer.
For instructions on how to specifically attach the claw to your existing LightTuck, you can visit our website for a video tutorial at www.VedderHolsters.com/clawinstall
Vedder Claw description

Looks to be an attachment that's supposed to draw your weapon grip closer to your body.

Thank you, Speedy. I didn't see that on the site. I guess I understand now; apparently the claw is pressed by the inside of your pants/belt to turn the grips towards your body.

Thanks again.

I just ordered a Lighttuck - with the claw - for my M9. I reckon I can always take the claw off if I don't like it.

Just ordered couple for my M9 and my Super Carry Ultra H.D.

Color selection is difficult.

I loved them all.

Nice video on U-Tube of Colors and Patterns.

I selected finally for the M9 Color: Realtree - XTRA

And Color: Realtree - Advantage Timber for the Ultra.

Went ahead and purchased the Clip Size: Both- 1.5" and 1.75" and
the Claw Attachment for both.

Hoping they will work well.

But with their 30 day risk free trial; what is to loose.

I'm glad I didn't see that video; the decision would have been much harder.

I ordered blood red carbon fiber.

That's the one I have. I love the color.

I bought the claw to add to my Lighttuck but before I drill another hole in my holster, I'm waiting on reviews. Anyone want to chime in?

Still waiting for my M9; LGS has received one three-week and two two-week promises from Kimber since the gun was ordered on December 4.

I received, very promptly, my Vedder carbon lighttuck with claw. What beautiful workmanship - absolutely flawless.

Once I get the gun, (I hope I live long enough ) I'll report on the holster with the claw.
