Good for him. Glad to see he's OK.

I'm not that surprised overall. The most dangerous man I ever knew was 64.

I am sorry but I don't think he did that great! What I saw was he let the thug sneak up behind him! NOT GOOD! He almost "ventilated" him (as he said) while he was running away. Having a pistol did not help him except for maybe keeping his wife from also being robbed.

Considering his age, I cut him some slack on the "sneak up on" part. Yikes, dozens of young teenage girls almost crash into me at the mall while texting--what's their excuse, advanced young age?

Truth be told, hold-up man makes a dash for my wife he gets ventilated, too.

That reminds me of the joke about the bank robber who has everyone on the floor at gunpoint and at some point his mask comes off and one citizen sees him. The robber gets the mask back on shoots the person who saw him and then asks, "anybody else see me?" An older guy slowly raises his hand and says, "I think my wife here got a good look."

I am getting to the age where more and more people are saying, "don't pick a fight with him, he's an old man you must excuse him".

They are correct in one thing, I am getting a tad to old to fight as it seems I get winded much quicker than years past. I now compensate for my lack of steam, the old man now chooses not to fight you, "he is going to kill you quickly". Reminder, due to lack of steam there will be no time for discussions, your entry into my home or attempt to harm my family will be justification for immediate action. Being the cost of ammunition has skyrocketed I am hoping you have some spare change in your pockets to cover the cost of the single 45 caliber round that went through your head. Don't worry about the cleanup as I am going to sue your family for those costs, can't sue you now can I?

Technically, I'm "old." I don't make any excuses. People shouldn't be touching or harassing other people. Just about everyone at our recent funerals had gray hair, and I would not mess with them.

Watch the video, and don't mess with old guys. We're not scared.
