New Slab of Horse Meat

It's been eighteen weeks a comin'. I like what Milt Sparks does, especially their VM2, so it was worth the wait. This one is horsehide, and I had them put on their newfangled magnetic snaps.

That’s a sharp looking holster. Nice choice.

Yup, Uncle Milty sure does nice work. Have a couple of VM2's myself.

I see you're a lefty, so I know it was worth the wait.

Yep, Milt Sparks are worth every penny. I use one for EDC in the summer. I’m interested in those magnetic snaps. What do you think about them?

It's rare that I use snaps. Mainly, strong snaps are a chore to work with, so it's easier to just unthread my belt when taking off a holster.

The magnetic snaps will not come undone from any sideways forces. To undo them, you have to pull the snap straight back. That's pretty easy, but seems improbable that it would be done by accident. I can see myself using this feature. The downside is that the magnetic snaps are about 1/8" thicker than standard.

I like the gun. It's a handy size, the long-pull trigger is what I like, and it's run flawlessly. The only thing I wasn't wild about was the coarse finish on the grips that would grind away at my skin. I used a diamond file to smooth it down just a bit, and now it's more comfortable to wear.
