For appendix carry, you'll want the shortest rig possible to prevent "digging" into your groin, so one designed for a 3" weapon would be ideal and intended specifically for this type of carry.

Check out the Kydex rigs from BladeTech, they offer a wide range of options, and in terms of Kydex, they know their stuff. I'm a leather kind of guy, but have had very good fortune with BT also.

I have a leather appendix itw made by Kusiak holsters. They are as thin as kydex and stay open for reholstering. I have one for my 1911s and sigs.

Try BraDec Holsters. Got one for my Sig P365XL and am extremely satisfied.

My bad...I've used Just Holster It in the past. I know they carry something for a 1911.

I love Garrett IWB holsters, Kydex outside and leather inside their turn around time is pretty quick, I've worn it travelling for 12 plus hours and no problems
