TN...you go online, complete the questions, get a confirmation number, go to a class + range qualification, depends on the cost. Mine was free as few weeks ago because I was a veteran. Go to a state drivers facility and complete the handgun permit qualification, pay your money..mine was $120 for 4 years, wife's was $140 for 6 years. Go get finger printed and back ground check, sent to state for further checks and issuing of permits.

Michigan...must be 21, take 6 hours class time 2 hours range approx 100 rounds to get NRA certified certificate or equivalent. $100 class. Take that to county clerk and spend another $110 dollars for application, go to Michigan State Police Post and get finger printed and palm printed. Receive CPL in mail 4 to 6 weeks later. Good for 5 years. They got rid of the gun boards the beginning of December this year.

In Missouri if you have a pulse, a clean record and take an 8 hour course you can have a CCW...

Vermont- you need to be breathing. As long as you are in the state, you can carry concealed, or open.

In Pennsylvania you go to the Sheriff's Department. Fill out a form, pay $15 provide 2 character witnesses that live in your County, provide proof of residency, get your picture taken. They do a background check and within 30 days they send you a card to tell you your permit is ready to be pick up. Give them $12-15 when you get your permit. It's good for 5 years. There can be slight differences from county to county.

Like Marshall said, A pulse and a clean record.

Oh, and no shooting qualification in AZ either, 4 hour class and you get your permit, I think I read AZ has 280,000 permit holders
