I have several IWB holsters but 95% of the time I carry the CDP Ultra or RCP Ultra in OWB holster. Works better for my fatness.

I like OWB myself, just thinking a little more concealed? I dont know. I am sure my OWB will be just fine, its just that I havent added to my holster drawer in awhile!!

I know what you mean. I have several holsters that I don't use often and when I pick them up I think...hmmm I wonder which pistol fits this one?

When I first got my carry permit I was very conscious of my gun and used an IWB holster because I just knew that everyone I walked by could see my gun. I used good holsters and with a 34" waistline I don't think I'm heavy but that holster got uncomfortable so with the winter coming on I switched over to an OWB and never looked back. Today even in shorts and a T-shirt I carry both my Ultra and Pro guns in Wright Leather Works Predator Pancake holsters. Nobody is looking at you, hell they're lucky if they even bother to see where they're walking they all have their faces glued to their stupid phones.

I got a Mitch Rosen 45024 IWB with leather belt strap made specifically for the Ultra (has the Kimber script embossed into it). It is comfy for when I do not need to "tuck" a shirt into my pants or when I am wearing a sweater. For more concealment, I use an Alien Gear or Crossbreed type tuckable, which also accommodates a longer barreled 1911

I agree with Chuck. No one notices that you are carrying and for me a good quality OWB holster works with shorts and an untucked t shirt.

What Steve said, besides if my T-shirt has to be tucked in then I'm either going to a funeral or a wedding and I pocket carry at them.
