Slide play

Do any of you with the Micro 9 have much rocking from side to side at the rear of the slide? I checked my ultra carry and it has none, tight and slick and I've had it for several years. I recently got my Raptor 9 back from getting a slide replaced (engraving was way off) and it has play in it. I'm sending it back.. Again, I just wondered if anyone else had loose fitting slides as I don't recall it before I sent it the first time.

I tried them both and there was a noticeable difference. I can't make my Ultra do it but the Micro doesn't really take a lot of effort to hear slide and frame loosely hitting each other side to side.
I really didn't want to send it back considering it's been gone a couple of weeks since brand new and I haven't even shot it. It's just that if I'd wanted sloppy, I'd gotten one from some other manufacturer or a pawn shop special.
Hopefully they'll make it tight n right...but I would have thought they'd done that before. Which is what's confusing.

Yeah I didn't think it should have any and if so very minimal. Not enough to clank from side to side. Thanks for the input. Sending back tomorrow..

Even my Rock bottom Rock Island doesn't clank side to slide; my Micro 9's fit mighty nicely. The one has 1000+ rounds through it, including some +P 124 gr stuff.

I couldn't believe it actually. It's like a bad joke having to send it right back to them. Hopefully it'll be made right..

Well they called and said it was "within specs" and that they're not "designed to be as tight as a 1911". Which even after a couple of days soaking on that, I'm still thinking "huh?". We'll see how everything goes when I get it back and have a chance to use it I guess.
