OWB Holster

I'm looking for a holster for my Micro 9 with laser-grip for the summer. My preferences are:

OWB
High-Ride
Some kind of retention/thumb break
Leather (but open to kydex)

I've made myself crazy looking. If you happen to know of any I would appreciate you sharing with me. I wear a sports coat or jacket most of the time, but during the summer - not as much.

Nice choices, Hoffbrew! The Gochenour Extreme High Ride & the US High Ride look promising. Thanks

I do recommend a good stiff leather belt for the high ride.

Hanks has 15% off today too! The Black Out is my favorite and I do like the Premier Double Layer but it is thick! I have a few of his belts, different colors, you know, have to match belt, holster and boots together!

My favorite holster for my 627 Performance Center is the cheap ol Don Hume Jit Slide. Bank breaker at $29, but carries very close and comfortable. I also have a combat master pancake but always seem to grab the Jit instead. Works for me.

If your looking for a real nice OWB pancake style holster (Not sure if they make a thumb break) look at the Wright Leather Works line. Great holsters and most list under $100.
I also have a couple Galco holsters that are very good quality the Avenger (OWB) and the Royal Guard (IWB Horse Hide) that can be picked up at most LGS.

Check out Mitch Rosens web site, he makes a pancake holster for the micro 9 with or without thumb brake. He sells the without on kimbers website. I have the without for my micro 9 cdp lg. He's pretty fast with his orders also, they usually say 3 to 4 weeks but its more like 2 or 2 1/2.

Thanks! I've been to a couple of sites listed here, but wasn't sure about them. Getting someone's opinion who uses it is priceless. How secure are these in the holster without retention or thumb break? Can you bend down without worrying about the pistol falling out? That's my biggest concern. I almost ordered the Jit just based on the price. If I didn't like it, I'm not out a lot and would probably use it where I wouldn't use a more expensive holster. All look like great choices. When I decide I'll post pictures. BTW I have a few holsters for a P226, so I invested in a couple of really thick belts. Best investment for carry. They both look nice too. I've had one over a year and it is barely broken in.

The Jit actually holds very good, but i wouldn't be doing head stands with it. Normal every day movement isnt a problem.

I have the Mitch Rosen for all my kimbers the all hold tight, you can holster the gun and turn upside down and shake and it holds. And thats without thumb brake.
