Micro 9 first range trip

I fired 180 rounds today and did not have one failure of any kind.
I shot 115, 124, 135 and 147 gr. I did not clean it, just added oil to the rails and barrel hood and muzzle end.

The 115 gr. shot the best at 8 yards, shooting pretty much POA-see photo.

The 124 shot low as did the 135 and 147 gr.
I now have it loaded with 115 gr Critical Defense for carry that I also shot at the range.
The gun shot better than I expected and disappears in an IWB holster. Actually, it fits the holster for my Colt Mustang XSP.

This photo is a stock image from the internet, but looks exactly like mine. I got it from KyGunCo. They had them on sale for $469 and I thought that was a fair price, not too high and within my wallet range.

They are very dependable and fit almost anywhere. I use a sticky type holster in the breast pocket of a sports jacket most often. PERFECT! I've found out I have to train often with it, though. Saturday I finally shot the M9 after several weeks. I'd been enjoying other guns. Long story short, I was not pleased with my results. Lesson learned. This is different than with larger guns. They are a more natural fit for larger hands. Shooting the Micro is a joy, but it requires keeping up with the practice, at least for me. "Shoot what you carry" and all that!

Fired another 150 rounds of 115 and 147 gr. today and still no issues. 330 total rounds fired. Hope it is a keeper.

Now at 447 failure free rounds. This is so concealable that I forget I am carrying.

Like the grip design on that model a lot; reminds me of the SIS grips. They also have rubber grips with a similar design that feel awesome. Love my Micro 9 CSE, it's an accurate, easy to shoot, reliable piece of equipment. Glad I got rid of my P938SAS and my Shield 40. Neither were near as reliable, accurate or comfortable to shoot, and the Micro 9 is way easier to conceal than a Shield.

Hit the 600 round mark and still no malfunctions...it carries flat and close to the body and with Winchester 147 gr. Defend ammo I feel well armed.

Too funny... I dumped a Shield 9 and a p238 SAS to get my Micro9.
