Range report for my new favorite!

I've had the Micro 9 about 2 weeks and got a few new mags. I also have torn down and really cleaned and lubed the pistol at least two times since my first time out with it, at which I had a few glitches. I have also lubed racked the slide too many times to count. It seems to shoot to a 6 o'clock hold on the bullseye.

I'm happy to report that all went well today. It shoots extremely well and functioned flawlessly. I did all my shooting at 10 yards. As I always do with a new pistol, I wanted to test different loads and manufacturers to make sure it was not ammo picky. In total, I shot about 100 rounds of 124 Federal and Freedom Munitions FMJ, 14 rounds of Speer Lawman 147 gr. flat nose FMJ and 14 rounds of Hornady Critical Defense 115 gr. and 14 of Federal HST 124 gr. JHP.

Everything went through the pistol without a hiccup, except some of the 147 gr. shells ejected into my forehead. It ejects all the other spent brass from the 115 and 124 gr. loads quite a ways to my right (15-20 feet). Toward the end of my session, I had a few failures to lock back on empty mags, but I'll take the blame for now, since it was hot and humid and by the end, I was sweating enough that my grip was moving around some (limp-wrist or hitting the slide release maybe).

Here is one of my 10-yard targets after 20 rounds, and the back of that target backer after everything had been shot for the day.

I like this little pistol and it will be going everywhere with me, loaded with the Federal HST!

Nice. I had a few 124g bounce off my cap the first time out. Mine ran flawless with the exception of 7+1; half the time it wouldn't feed the first round in the mag. Not sure what's going on there yet.
Accurate little sucker I'll give it that.

Looks like ya got a keeper there. I also like the HST 147's as a defensive 9mm.

I found that making sure the first round is pointed up some, not flat, solved that problem for me.
