Improved Hogue Extended Base Pad opinion

Ok everyone, I finally received my new base pads in the mail today. They were shipped the 1st of August but got lost in the mail, it wasn’t Hogue’s fault, you can thank the good old USPS for that one.
Anyway, back to the base pads. I think they done a very good job on the revised ones. The fit is much better. It is actually a little narrower than the original ones but I actually like that better, it feels more natural in my hand than the original ones did. Also there is very little to NO noticeable gap between the pad and but of the gun like the original ones had.
Overall I am very pleased with the revised ones and am also extremely satisfied with Hogue’s customer service on this issue, even if it is just a $10.00 piece, I think they went above and beyond by redesigning it because of the few complaints that were brought to their attention starting on here.
I included some before and after pictures on the same red background so you all can see the difference. The first picture is of the original version.

Thanks for posting Brent !
They do appear to be a better fit than the first version. I agree that Hogue Sid a good job of listening and trying to come up with a solution to the complaints.

I think I will order some myself.

At this time I don't own a Micro9 however I agree the revised magazine pads look better and seem to fit better.

I've never held one of the 6 round magazines before, but I don't figure that it would be too hard to make one of the base plates fit it. You would have to drill and tap a hole though. But I could be wrong about it.
