Thinking Christmas List/Micro 9

You know, a woman can never be too early to start a Christmas list. At this point I am thinking I would reall like. Micro 9, stainless wood grips. I currently have 2 Shields, one is a 2.0 9mm and the other is a 380 Shield EZ. Love, love, love the Shield 9mm. The EZ is a nice concept as I am an older small woman, but It stovepipes a live round of every magazine. I have fired about 300 rounds thru it so maybe a break-in issue but I just have no desire to continue with it, not even enough to call S&W. I really don’t think there is anything wrong with it, my personal opinion is all the springs on this gun are too light. Just gonna trade it, found out thru the Shield 9mm, I am fine with racking/locking back the slide tasks.
So even tho I love the 9mm Shield, I like having 2 firearms to use at the range. Not interested in anything higher caliber than 9mm but also nothing lower. Hubby has a Kimber micro 380 and a 1911 Custom II Two Tone in 9mm. He loves them, I am ok with the smaller one but the 1911 is too heavy for me to hold up to fire the full mag, lol. I do like an all metal gun vs the polymer also.
So, finally, my question, does anyone know if there is much more perceived recoil in the Micro 9 than my Shield 9mm and hub’s Custom II? After being so happy with my Shield 9, I would hate to fire the Micro 9 and go whoa, that recoil, stout! Unfortunately no where around I can rent a Kimber. Christmas list item or not?? Thanks

I agree with Marshall, I don't think recoil on the Micro9 will be a issue.
I say skip the list of the fat guy in the red suit, channel your inner Santa and buy one now don't wait.

Oh, thank you both, you are very encouraging! I really want to look forward to Christmas for something exciting, otherwise it's always about ALL that shopping for everyone else! I do celebrate the real meaning but it sure can easily get lost in all that commercialism thru my many years 🤫! BUUTTT, I do have. Birthday coming in Oct!
P.S. so you think the Shield 9mm has kick, I think it has none! I do think that Kimber Micro 380 has some 'snap' to it, oh but it's sooo pretty (sapphire model)

Micro 9

FYI, Smoky Mountain Guns and Ammo still has the s.s. micro 9 with the CT laser grips on sale for $550. Mine just came in this past Tuesday. I took it to the range Thursday (range report coming) and put 150 rounds through it flawlessly. Sweet gun. Go for it!

Does the "Pro" mean it's a larger size? As far as the Sapphire goes, hubby has a Sapphire Micro 380 and I just don't like the colors on a gun. I'm a very "girly" woman so I'm surprised and I think the Amethyst is really pretty too but I really like the stainless combined with pretty wooden grips.
