Micro 9 CDP LG; New

I have a new Micro 9 CDP (LG) on order.

Our last new weapon was a Kimber 9mm Ultra Aegis II for which we purchased, per Forum responses, 147 gr for Break and 124 gr thereafter. I still have ammo.

Can I use the same for the new Micro 9 CDP (LG)?

Thank you,

I have the same one, 124 or 147 should be fine. Just run it wet. It likes oil when new. After which if you have any feeding problems just polish the feed ramp. Had to do that on mine because even after break in it was still temperamental on feeding. If you don't know how you could just send it back to the mother ship and they'll take care of it. Enjoy.

Why Rack?

Racking a new 1911 clone when new (wet & w/o mag) helps burnish the mating parts in (hammer, sear, disconnector, slide rails), helps smooth out any small micro burrs that may be present, and generally just preps the weapon for live-fire later.

I do it on new pistols while watching an evening movie....drives the wife bat-$hit!
