P938 hammer fall malfunction

So i have a sig p938 blackwood. The p938 and micro 9 share the same Colt design. My p938 has a hammer fall malfunction. I was wondering if people with the micro 9 could help me check if the kimber micro 9 suffers from this same issue. Looking to get a carry gun that's a bit safer seeming. Thanks!

I don't think it's an issue. Why in the heck would you do that anyway. Under what circumstances could that possibly happen while you were carrying cocked and locked?

Welcome to the site from Tennessee. I don't own a Micro so I will refrain from making a comment.

Thanks. I'll try to remember to keep my guns pointed in a safe direction when I flick my extractor with a round in the chamber.

First noticed it when cleaning the ejector. Alarmed me since my knowledge of gun mechanics is limited. Figured out how to replicate the issue, decided to ask if it was normal, and if it was dangerous. I thought that the ejector pops up when actioning the slide or when ejecting a case. Didnt want to try loading the chamber and have the hammer fall in the process. Or have followup shots occur automatically. Anyways, the people on sigtalk seem to insist this is not a safety hazard.
