Micro 9 Magazines dropping bullets

I carry a Kimber Micro 9 daily and keep 2 spare magazines in a magazine pouch on my belt. Almost daily, rounds will eject from the magazines leaving loose bullets in the magazine pouch (and obviously making them unavailable for a reload). Kimber customer service said this is normal.Any solutions out there?

Normal for rounds to spontaneously eject from the magazine? I'm surprised the customer service wanker didn't try to sell you a seven round extended magazine, so that after a round ejects, you'll still have the six rounds that you wanted in the first place.

What kind of magazine pouch are you using? Is it made to fit your magazines perfectly? If your pouch isn't specifically made for your magazines, it's conceivable that rubbing and bouncing could strip a round from the magazine.

Strange, I carry one mag in my pocket and that's never happened.

The magazines are the extended 7 round mags that came with it, as it is a Custom Micro 9 CDP. The magazine pouch is leather and I believe was designed for the new Glock single stack 9 mm magazine. I've also carried these mags in a knife sheath, with the same results. I'm not aware of a magazine pouch which will hold two mags specifically made for the Micro 9.

I use a Blackhawk leather mag pouch.

Although I have the leather tightened fairly tight I think the vibration while wearing it loosens the rounds. I think the cartridges are bottoming out and spring pressure causes them to start to eject. My routine each morning is to push the rounds back in place.
