Where Do I find a Magazine Replacement Spring?

Hey guys,
First time to post here, other than my introduction on the New Member Forum. I really like the Micro 9 I bought some months ago so that it is commonly used for concealed carry. I also carry it when deer hunting incase a "finishing" shot is needed. I carry it concealed w/ the 6 round magazine, but carry the 7 round mag for back up. When I went hunting last weekend I realized I couldn't find the 7 round mag despite looking everywhere. Finally I looked in washing machine and found it lodged in the gasket. It had been in the wet gasket for more than a week. The mag spring was pretty rusty. I removed the rust and put it back together. At the end of my hunt this PM, I quickly emptied the mag, although there were some problems. I'm going to buy a new 7 round mag, but I'd like to buy a replacement mag for the old mag and use it on the range. Kimber doesn't sell replacement springs and didn't respond when I asked who did. Wolff doesn't sell one. Tripp doesn't sell one specifically for the Micro 9, but did recommend one of their springs that I could modify. Does anyone have a better idea for a replacement spring?

I'd clean it up with some Scotchbrite, Comet, or steel wool. Attend to the follower and the inside of the magazine, as well. Elbow grease, my friend. Then lube and reassemble. I don't think you'll have any problems after that.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I've already got everything all nice and shiny, but I wanted to replace the spring as I don't trust it to last long term. I think I'll buy the one from Tripp.
