I have a set of wrap around rubber on my Ultra two tone 45. They’re perfect. They give a really solid grip. I prefer checkering on the front strap but this works just fine.

I've got them on all my 45s, but was wondering about the Micro 9 only.
Can you still carry without them sticking out?

Hi Ken....

Hogue grips have been discussed here several times. Many really like them for the grippy feel and soft recoil of rubber. Also the finger groove front strap covers are popular for guns with smooth front frames.

However many (me included) don't like rubber grips for concealed carry because rubber tends to drag on clothing. I like rubber for magnum revolvers at the range or for hunting guns. Wood or G10 for carry. I have become a real fan of G10 it's smooth without being slick if you get what I mean. It also has a texture without being sticky or rough. Wood works too and comes in so many forms and colors. It can be checkered, grooved or smooth.

But everyone here has a preference for grips just like everything else. And too if you're carrying OWB rubber might not be an issue for you as for those who carry IWB. Have fun figuring it out!

I have them on a Micro 9 and on a Colt Defender, I like them. I only carry concealed and personally I have never noticed them catching my clothing

My Micro 9 came with them & I felt they were a little fat to carry concealed. I put thinner grips on it and liked the look, but after firing a few mags through it, my wrist wanted the Hogue back! I'm waiting for a couple of holsters to see how it will carry. I may just use the Hogue for the range & the thin grips for carry.

I have them on my Micro 9 and love them. They are supposed to be making them for the Micro 380 also, just not sure when they will be available.

I like Hogue grips for pistol control and recoil management.
