Ejector problem

While I was installing a new hammer spring, I rotated the pistol wrong, the mainspring fell out, and the spring tension on the ejector disappeared, leaving it floppy. Any tips?

Can anyone direct me to a YouTube link on the easiest way to hook it back up again?

Thanks. Ejector working OK now.

I still have an issue.

When I cock the hammer, the sear is not engaging, and the hammer won't stay back. If I pull the pin on the mainspring housing and let the housing drop a bit toward the bottom of the gun, the sear does engage. Shoving the housing home releases the sear, and the hammer falls.

What am I doing wrong?

Trigger, trigger bar, ejector, safety, and hammer have never been removed.

Only parts that have come out of the frame are mainspring housing and sear spring.
