Micro .380 disassembly and reasembly

Does anyone know of any videos available for this task.

They’re not exactly like a 1911

Correct. The Micro is easier!

That video explains things very well. Be very careful when reinserting that little slide stop so as not to put a scratch in the frame.

If you don't find one use the video for the Sig P238, it's the same gun.

...I haven't seen anything that extensive on the Micro? If you find anything on the Sig P238 it should work though. They're essentially identical, and since the Sig has been around much longer chances are you'll be able to find more info?
...KEEP IN MIND, disassembling beyond the field strip in the video or as shown in the manual by anyone other than Kimber may VOID the warranty. If you feel anything is that wrong Kimber will probably pay for the shipping and fix it for free for you, there's that option too :-)

...good video Chuck :-)

thanks Chuck, i have two Micro's so I was able to take one down and use the other for a guide.

The video would have helped but after watching there are some minor differences. Particularly the main spring, the Micro’s comes out like the big boys. I stopped at the trigger, I noticed in the video they say removing the trigger is difficult..........so guess what I got to do the next time.........yep remove the trigger.

But thanks for posting the video.

It's really not that hard to do, I've replaced the triggers on both of my Sigs. There are video's specifically explaining how to do it and yes the triggers I used will fit the Micro carry.

Numrich has an exploded diagram of the Star DK, most everything is the same, all three of the current pistols (Colt, Sig, Kimber) are very similar and come apart fairly easy. Don't loose the detent and plunger under the safety lever!

Solid advice here about the detent and spring under the safety; mine got launched into the "missing springs and things" dimension. It's in the same astral plane as socks that get lost in the laundry.
